Antiretroviral medicines are used to treat HIV. If people living with HIV take their medicine correctly, they can live an almost normal life. But it is important to take it at the same time every day and to keep taking it for life. This leaflet explains how this works and gives tips for keeping on track with medication for HIV.

It is especially important at the moment for people living with HIV to keep taking their medication correctly to ensure their immune systems stays strong.
