This course will focus on different approaches that underpin much of the counselling practice.

We will look at the Psychodynamic approach, Person Centered approach (PCA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and the Egan Skilled Helper Model.
