Engaging with people in HIV counselling, testing, prevention and care is one of the most important strategies for reducing the burden of HIV and AIDS in South Africa. South Africa bears 17% of the global burden of HIV infection. This is 23 times the global average! This course will explore the pre-test counselling process.
