Action for Key Populations: Key populations are those who are most affected by HIV and AIDS within a specific context. In South Africa, we have identified key populations who need to be prioritised if we are going to bring down the rate of new infections and meet the UN’s Fast Track Targets. But in many cases, key populations are being left behind – marginalised, criminalised, stigmatised and discriminated against, they are often prevented from accessing the testing, treatment and care services they so desperately need.
